 Brilliant animated movie for adults and kids December 24, 2008
Dreamworks have done it again following on the heels of 'Shark tale' and 'Madagascar'.
I personally prefer 'Happy feet' and 'Toy story' which where excellent animated movies but Dreamworks have scored 10 out of 10 for 'Kung fu Panda'. It was brilliant fun with a message thrown in.
I wasn't sure if I really wanted to see this movie, the trailer wasn't tempting enough for me and Jack Black can be a little too annoying and hyperactive but I popped the dvd in and I was laughing 5 minutes into the movie.
Jack Black was funny and the message to believe in yourself and go after your dreams was an excellent message for Kids and adults.
Unfortunately the casting of Jackie Chan was pointless because he only had a couple of lines, if that.
I think this is a great movie to buy and watch over Christmas.

Great film which was very very funny from start to finish and it is a great family movie that you can all enjoy over and over again. I sat down with my two girls and none of us even moved while this was on,the story and laughs were easy to follow overall a great buy for Christmas and there's no swearing which for me is a must!!

i didnt want to see this movie, i thought it would be a childish movie with bad jokes.
i was forced to watch it at school and im so glad i was. Its not much of a comedy movie , so dont buy it if your looking for one. All the bad ratings are because they wanted a comedy movie. THIS IS NOT MUCH OF A COMEDY MOVIE. its pretty serious!!
thats why i loved it though, it not being a terrible kids movie with bad jokes (as most films are now a days, take shrek for example. the jokes in there make me cringe with their stupidity, kids laugh at anything nowadays. i am only 12 myself however but i dont laugh at stupid things)
its a great movie that will keep you gripped the whole way and if you like kung fu or oriental stuff you will LOVE it. its much more than just a kids film!! FIVE STARS!

Myself, my husband, my son's who are 12yrs, 9yrs, 5yrs, 3yrs and my 1yr old daughter all watched this on holiday in Scarborough. We loved it. Po is the most adorable character and I'm definately gonna buy it on DVD.

i was very upset after seeing this i paid 15 pounds for this stupid film i expected a good funny film i was very let down by this a few funny bits but that about it dont buy it rent it at least u wont have to waste your money on krap like this. lets hope ice age 3 will be better than this afterall both there films have been brilliant !!!!!!!!!!!!
