This tv series is about Dexter Morgan (played by Michael C. Hall), a murderer that hides in plain sight, working for the police force. I didn't think that premise was too interesting, so I didn't pay "Dexter" any attention until a few days ago, when I happened to watch one of its episodes by chance. I was hooked...
By now, I have watched all the episodes included in the first season, and plan to watch the second one. As I previously thought, the fact that this show is about a serial killer that preys on serial killers is creepy. However, this show pulls that premise off, and brilliantly so.
Dexter says that "Everybody hides what they are, at least some of the time". If you watch this tv series, you will understand why he says that. Stay away from it if you dislike dark humour, but give "Dexter" a try if you don't mind it and appreciate dry wit. Highly recommended...

This is an amazing show!
The narrating, the direction of the show and characters are amazing.
I haven't been this entertained in years! This goes straight to the top of list! It's fresh and doesn't smell of "knock off of C.S.I".
It would highly recommend this, if you love Sopranos, and even though this doesn't deal with the mob at all its still one of the best shows to hit the screen!

This has got to be one of the best things I've watched on TV in years.
Dexter is brilliantly written, expertly acted and directed and is well worth watching.
I bought the box set as I couldn't wait from one week to the next to see what happened. When I watched the ending all I could think was how perfectly it all wrapped up.
Fabulous - Well worth watching.

Dexter is a blood spatter specialist working for the police. His skills help to find murderers and solve crimes.
Dexter is also a serial killer. He uses his crime solving skills to rid the world of those who deserve to die. Unfortunately for his guilty victims, Dexter enjoys his hobby.
This is an off beat but brilliant series, which brings serial killing into mainstream entertainment. Enjoy.
